My Story

I spent most of my childhood growing up in San Jose, California, before moving to Phoenix, Arizona. As a first-generation Mexican American, community has always been important to me.

Growing up, making friends happened naturally through school, sports, and everyday life. As adults, that changes. People move away. Schedules become busy. Meeting new people becomes surprisingly difficult.

I realized there were incredible local communities already around us, but many people never attended because walking into a room full of strangers can feel intimidating.

I wanted to build something that helped people make that first connection before the event ever began.

That idea became Knoso.

Knoso was proudly built in Phoenix, Arizona and that’s exactly where we’re starting. We’re focused on serving local communities here first, learning what real connection looks like, before expanding to new cities nationwide.
